The smart working man always has a Plan B in the back of his head, when it comes to spontaneous afternoon getaways. So, when the pool at The Margi Hotel became my after – office treat, I grabbed the best from my collection of pool wear and rose to the occasion. If you don’t want to always carry a tote bag with you at the office, just in case a swim opportunity arises, then follow these simple and smart little moves:

·Play polo. And by that, we mean “wear a nice polo shirt to work that can easily be adapted to your pool style”. A light blue number is perfect, as it fits both parts of your day.
·Go with the no-socks policy. If you start your day while wearing no socks, it will be much easier to transform your mood and style into a more relaxed one. After all, it is the must of the season.

·It sure is no hassle at all to carry a tote bag with you while you leave the house in the morning, instead of your regular gym bag. If you don’t want to switch, just pop a swimsuit (or two) into your trusted workout bag and leave the rest up to fate!
·A nice pair of sunglasses is a must, whether you go to the pool, the beach or just stay around town. It will, however, be an added value if you ever get near the water.
