There are endless ways to wear a staple color, even when you opt for a casual afternoon combination.
Sure, there are more than two colors dominating this particular outfit, if you really pay attention, though, you will see that the blue polo shirt is the key to the whole look, the center around which the rest of the pieces are glued together. What other shade could bring close the soft olive of the chinos with the pure white of this sweater?
KEEPING TRACK OF YOUR POLO PLAY IS THIS “KAICCO” PIECE BY SWATCH!
HOW TO DO IT
·Once you have located the shade that matches your skin and, most importantly, your attitude, make it your priority.
·Start improvising with what you have at home: Drape a nice contrasting color on top, find a complementing one to match it and you are set.
·What is important here is loudness. These olive colored chinos would not have looked as good if matched with a brighter or a harsher shade of blue.
·It is all about proportions: Dare to play with a third color, like we did here, but never go beyond that.
TIME FOR POLO
This, the better-dressed alternative to your plain T-shirt, needs extra attention:
·Never let the backside of your polo shirt cover more than half your back pocket.
·Mind the buttons: never create a big V as it looks pretty bad…
·They should never be too tight around the arms.
·Never wear an undershirt.
