That sixties Miami vibe just got a little bit more Marrakesh.
A poplin shirt and a longish pair of swim shorts. That’s all you need to state your case by the pool. David Hockney, the British painter who comprehended, more than anyone, the art behind a typical, all-American summer setting, the pope of Pop Art, already knew this when he painted his pools back in 1960. We dedicate this post to him, his fun way of looking at his surroundings, his still critical eye and the magical way he has created a unique, recognizable universe. Of course, our tribute would not be complete if we didn’t add a tiny twist to it. So, instead of color blocking by the crisp waters, we decided to go a little Marrakesh and play a teasing print game with our outfit.
IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR THAT PERFECT PRINT ON A BEAUTIFULLY TAILORED PIECE, VILEBREQUIN HAS YOU COVERED ALL THE WAY.
Looking from a distance, this seems like a very serious ensemble. However, the print itself is a wholehearted tribute to pop art, as it depicts tiny turtles! And, if you just don’t get it, the Infrario by Swatch is here to show you how pop is done right!
