A new batch of unique sneakers just came in the Kix concept store in Kifissia and we were first in line to check things out.

Limited edition designs, rare pairs I only used to find when travelling abroad, plus an expert staff, these are the things that keep me coming back to Kix in Kifissia, or even one of the other stores in Chalandri and Glyfada. So, what’s hot for the season, you ask? Here are my personal favorites:

1. Nike Roshe Two: Simplicity Redefined

Originally debuting in 2012, the Roshe One was created to embody simplicity. For designer Dylan Raasch, his creation was about sculpting and refinement, all with the goal of building a light, uncomplicated shoe. “The simpler I could make it, the more profound it would become,” he says. As light and flexible as the original, the Roshe Two combines three layers of cushioning with a soft, stretch upper for comfort and streamlined simplicity.

2. Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 92: Track-inspired comfort for the street

This shoe reimagines the ’90s racer with a sleek upper and responsive cushioning. It has a compression-molded textile upper with synthetic leather and TPU overlays for comfort, a Nike Zoom Air unit in the heel for responsive cushioning and an OrthoLite ® sockliner for soft cushioning. Its strategically placed rubber enhances traction and durability where you need it.

3a,3b. Nike Air Force 1 07 LV8: The premium update of an icon

Transcending foot coverage since 1982, this once hoops shoe was coined after Air Force One—the aircraft that carries the President of the United States. It was the first basketball shoe to house Nike Air, revolutionizing the game for players like Moses Malone and Charles Barkley while rapidly gaining traction around the world, from the hardwood to the blacktop to the core of hip-hop culture. Today the Air Force 1 stays true to its roots with soft, springy cushioning and a massive midsole, but the Air technology takes a backseat to the shoe’s status as an icon.

4. Adidas Gazelle

This men’s version of the Gazelle honors the favorite version of 1991, with the same materials, colors, textures and proportions as the original. The leather upper features contrast 3-Stripes and heel tab that echo the early-’90s style. In fact, this is a shoe that never went out of style…

5. PUMA Suede

Meet the Suede. It’s been kicking around for a long time. From ’60s basketball warm-up shoe to ’90s hip-hop kick, it’s been worn by greats across generations and make its mark on a range of different scenes. All smooth suede, streetwise swagger, and sport-inspired style, it remains to this day PUMA’s most epic sneaker icon.

Converse Counter Climate

Their new collection infuses meticulous design, premium materials and durable construction to help keep you comfortable in any type of weather. Why? So you won’t stop doing what you love!

Shield Canvas is made with the simplicity of canvas you have always relied on. However, now you can enjoy some new and exciting technical benefits, such as a water repellent treatment that is long lasting and highly durable, but still respects the look and feel of canvas, while allowing the material to breathe!

Rubber combines beauty with the crafted look of textured fabric, with a thin rubber coating for protection: The Rubber is a post applied, translucent layer which lets materials and prints do their magic without being covered, while a split collar heightens the depth and dimension of this new, bold look.

Sneaker Boots elevate the game one step higher. Water resistant becomes waterproof and silicon treated leather works together with a neoprene inner bootie with waterproof breathable membrane, creating the ideal winter sneaker.
