You can feel it in the air. A friend tells you their allergies are back. Almond trees are shyly starting to bloom. The wind is not so cold. You hop on your bicycle to go to a nearby meeting. Yes, the good days are almost here and you are allowed to dream, shop for new clothes and create new versions of your favorite looks. Spring is creation and rejuvenation, after all.
· Is it sensible to ask if you remember what my favorite color is? Yes, blue is correct. Putting the darker shades behind me, in my winter wardrobe, now is the time to enjoy some lighter choices that look so fresh and contemporary, I cannot get enough of them. So we combined a light blue pair of jeans with a softer and warmer blue jacket, creating a two toned combo of freshness. This is probably the only outfit that made me look back to my light-blue jeans, so I urge you to pay attention when adding one to your ensemble, as it needs clever pairing so as not to look retro _unless that is the look you are going for.
· Check out the intelligent way we have added black accessories, like the belt and shoes. Don’t they look perfectly entwined with light blue? Who would have thought? So, the moral of this tiny story is that you won’t know if two colors look good together, unless you try.
· While you are at it, throw in some small splashes of black on your tie, your pocket square or your shirt. It will bring everything together.
· Don’t just treat your bike as a fashion statement. Use it frequently and remember, after spring comes the all-revealing summer!
